Celebrating Change
On March 8th we celebrate the contributions of women in social, political, economic and cultural fields. We recognize the advocacy for continued growth and diversity in the workplace. Here at August Electronics Inc. we are proud to recognize our Senior Leadership; Tanya Korenda (CEO), Sara Haynes (VP of Manufacturing), and Tanya Roach (VP of Supply Chain).
In addition to Senior Level Management we are comprised of a talented and diverse mix of employees. As an employer in the Technology and Manufacturing realm we are blessed with a unique demographic to which 63% of our staff are women. We thank all of you today for your ongoing commitment to August Electronics Inc.
In 2019 we engaged community partnership with the Louise Dean Centre and have enjoyed contributing to the education and life skill development for young pregnant teens and their families. It’s been a rewarding experience for us to learn and draw strength from their resilience. We hope that our involvement aids them to move into post-secondary education or pursue a career option they are passionate about.
We also want to take a moment to recognize the many women serving our country in uniform here and abroad today.
